Meet the Gumshoes
Gumshoe Noir is the brainchild of contralto Olivia Harding and multi-instrumentalist Jonathan Tucker. One fateful day, Jon asked Olivia to join him in exploring the concept of "Noir," chasing the crime-filled, fatalistic notion through various decades and genres. Working long-distance between Kansas City and New York City, they wrote their eponymous first album.

The debut album is the culmination of several months of research into Noir. It provides the musical landscape of a fictional city that was crafted from the grittier sides of our own cities.
The album unfolds like a penny dreadful, mixing genre and honoring noir traditions of the past while pushing it forward into uncharted territory.
